Video Production Cost 2026: Slovakia Prices

Video production cost in Slovakia in 2026 runs from 95 euros for a two hour shoot with a freelancer to 2,000 euros for a shoot day with a full crew, and that is before post-production. We went through 18 Slovak websites that come up for the local equivalent of "video production price list" and put every published figure in one place: 13 price lists from 10 suppliers, plus a 2026 Berlin benchmark so you can see where Slovakia sits in Europe. The short version: there is no single market, there are three, and most pricing disappointments come from comparing quotes across them.

Key takeaways

  • A shoot day with a two to three person crew costs 1,500 to 2,000 euros in two public Slovak price lists; a solo freelancer with one camera charges 250 to 300 euros a day.
  • Post-production for a corporate video runs 1,000 to 2,000 euros, while editing a single reel on the freelance marketplace jaspravim.sk costs 25 to 32 euros.
  • Package agencies shoot on an iPhone and sell 8 short videos for 750 euros excluding VAT, shoot day included.
  • UGC creators charge 150 to 700 euros per video depending on experience; an AI generated video of up to 60 seconds starts at 400 euros excluding VAT.
  • Of the 18 websites we checked, 10 publish at least one price. The houses that shoot TV commercials publish none.
  • In Berlin, Shootsta's September 2026 guide puts a crew at 900 to 2,400 euros a day, so a full Slovak crew sits at the lower end of German pricing, not at half of it.

How we collected the 13 price lists and what is missing

We only used publicly available pages that Google shows for Slovak searches like "video production price list", "video editing price" and "drone video price", as of 14 October 2026. No quote requests, no guessing at other people's prices. The marketplace jaspravim.sk is counted per listing, because every listing is a different supplier. Where a price list says "excluding VAT" we say so next to the figure; where it does not, treat the number as indicative. We also included our own model budget, which we publish in our article on corporate video cost in 2026, because it would be odd to compare everyone else's prices and hide ours.

What is not in the tables: the production houses that shoot TV commercials. Of the 18 websites, 8 had no figure at all, only a contact form, and that group includes every company with big brand commercials in its portfolio. That is not laziness. A commercial with actors, locations and licensed music cannot be priced without a script, and the TV commercial production process and its cost by phase is a separate story. This article is about corporate video, social content and the line items where a price list can actually exist.

Shoot day in 2026: 95 euros for two hours or 2,000 euros for a day

A shoot day with a professional crew costs 1,500 to 2,000 euros in Slovakia; a shoot day with one person and one camera costs 190 to 900 euros depending on what is included. Here is what we found:

NORDLYS (our model budget)shoot day, three person crew, 2 cameras, sound, lights1,800 € excl. VAT

jaspravim.sk, listing B3LZIup to 4 hours of filming plus the edit of a business video190 €
jaspravim.sk, listing VideoEditor_Pavol1 to 2 hours of filming95 €

Three worlds on one page. A freelancer with one camera (95 to 300 euros), a package agency that shoots on a phone and sells finished content including the edit (750 to 900 euros), and a full crew with a sound recordist, lights and two cameras (1,500 to 2,000 euros) where post-production is still to come. When three quotes land on your desk and differ fivefold, you most likely got one from each world.

Editing and post-production: 10 euros an hour or 2,000 euros a video

Post-production for a corporate video costs 1,000 to 2,000 euros in production company price lists; on the freelance marketplace, editing sells from 10 euros per hour of work or from 25 euros per finished video under a minute.

jaspravim.sk, Katka_createreel up to 30 s from supplied footage, 1 round of changes32 € excl. VAT

The gap between 10 euros an hour and 1,500 euros a video is not the software; both may well be sitting in DaVinci Resolve. It is what counts as finished. A marketplace freelancer delivers a cut of your footage with one round of changes. A production company delivers color grading, licensed music, a sound mix, subtitles, animated graphics and two or three rounds of feedback, which in practice eat more time than the cut itself. If you have your own footage and only need a cut, the marketplace is a legitimate choice. If you are ordering a whole video, ask exactly what post-production covers in the quote.

Reels, UGC and AI video: price lists that did not exist two years ago

The biggest movement is in short content: 2 reels start at 149 euros, a UGC video from a creator costs 150 to 700 euros, and an AI generated video under a minute starts at 400 euros excluding VAT.

SourceItemPrice
GaeltaMini: 2 videos up to 30 s / Starter: 4 videos up to 45 s / Pro YouTube: 1 video up to 5 min149 € / 249 € / 290 € excl. VAT
Velus Productionreels for social media / Creator Pro packagefrom 120 € / from 200 €
Just Zuzana, UGC price list 2026UGC video, beginner / with script and edit / experienced creator150 to 250 € / 300 to 450 € / 450 to 700 €
Just Zuzanapack of 3 UGC videos / UGC video with drone footage900 to 1,200 € / 1,300 to 1,500 €
ADOREA StudioAI video 10 s / 30 s / 60 s including voiceover and music89 € / 229 € / 400 € excl. VAT

With UGC, notice that the price of the video is only half the conversation. The same creator lists an annual licence for using three videos in paid ads at 2,000 to 2,500 euros, and Gaelta includes only 3 months of paid advertising in its packages, with each further 3 months at 50 euros. If you want to run a video in ads for a year, the licence can cost more than the production. AI video is a different trap: 400 euros a minute is tempting, but the AI video tools of 2026 still cannot film your people in your plant, and that is exactly what separates a corporate video from a stock montage.

Drone, LED studio and the lines quotes leave out

Drone footage starts at 300 euros for raw material; renting a Bratislava studio with an LED wall costs 150 euros an hour or 900 euros a day excluding VAT.

  • Dronista (Nitra, Trnava, Bratislava): pricing starts at 300 euros for delivery of raw photos or video, larger projects quoted individually.
  • Velus Production includes drone footage in its Corporate Story package from 900 euros and does not price it separately.
  • Štúdio na Račku (Bratislava): studio with a panoramic LED wall at 150 euros an hour, 500 euros a half day, 900 euros a day, excluding VAT.
  • Gaelta: 3 months of paid ad licence included, extension at 50 euros per further 3 months; an extra voiceover language at 39 euros.

From our own shoots, here is what no price list tells you: a drone in a corporate video is not just a flight. It is the aerial work permit, checking the location is not in a restricted zone, and weather that can cancel your day. That is why a serious production prices it as a line of the shoot day rather than an hour of flying.

For an honest, numbers first look at how a working filmmaker prices corporate work abroad, this video is worth seven minutes:

Why two quotes for a "corporate video" differ by 4,000 euros

Because "corporate video" is not a product, it is a brief, and every supplier pictures a different scope under it. Take three public figures from the tables. Gaelta produces eight short iPhone videos in one day for 750 euros. Velus delivers a two to three minute video with interviews and drone shots from a one person crew for 900 euros. Our model budget for a 90 second video comes to 4,300 euros excluding VAT: 600 euros pre-production, 1,800 euros for a shoot day with a three person crew, 1,500 euros post-production and 400 euros for six extra vertical clips. All three are fair prices. Each simply has a different number of people on set, different gear and a different number of hours in the edit suite.

Now the honest part, because it cuts against us too: for a company trying video on social media for the first time, with no idea what will work, the 750 euro package is a smarter start than a 4,300 euro studio production. You learn what your audience watches, then commission the expensive production for what worked. The reverse is also true: a video for a trade fair stand, for your homepage for the next three years or for an investor should not be shot on a phone by one person, and neither we nor common sense recommend it. Savings on sound and light show up in every frame. We wrote up how to vet a supplier before signing in how to choose a video production company.

Berlin 2026 vs Bratislava: a Slovak crew is not half the price

In its guide to video production cost in Berlin, published in September 2026, Shootsta puts a crew at 900 to 2,400 euros per shoot day, an editor at 450 to 950 euros a day and a finished two to three minute corporate video at 4,500 to 13,500 euros. A full Slovak crew at 1,500 to 2,000 euros therefore sits inside the German range, just in its lower half. For a finished video the gap is wider: 2,500 to 6,000 euros in Slovakia against 4,500 to 13,500 in Berlin. For a company producing content for several markets, that is an argument to shoot once in Slovakia and localise, rather than hire a crew in every country.

Checklist: how to compare three quotes so you compare the same thing

  1. Ask for a three line breakdown: pre-production, shoot, post-production. A single number with no breakdown cannot be compared with anything.
  2. Count the people on set and the cameras. One person with a phone and a three person crew with two cameras are not the same item, even if both are called a shoot day.
  3. Check what "edit" means: how many rounds of feedback, whether color grading, licensed music, subtitles and social formats are included.
  4. Ask about the licence: for how long and where you may use the video, especially in paid ads and with UGC creators.
  5. Convert every figure to "excluding VAT". Some price lists state it, some do not, and 23 percent is enough to make the cheaper quote the more expensive one.
  6. Watch a finished video similar to yours from every supplier. The price list tells you what you pay, the portfolio tells you what you get.

If you want to see exactly what sits inside our 1,800 euro shoot day, have a look at how video production works at NORDLYS, or send us your brief via contact. You will get a budget broken down by line, not a single number.

FAQ: video production cost in Slovakia

Is 1,500 to 2,000 euros per shoot day including or excluding VAT?

Collective Production's price list does not say; our model budget is excluding VAT. Corporate video prices in Slovakia are almost always quoted excluding VAT, so add 23 percent if your company cannot reclaim it. Always get it confirmed in writing in the quote.

Why do most Slovak video production companies not publish a price list?

Of the 18 websites we checked, 8 had no price at all, including every company with TV commercials in its portfolio. A commercial with actors, locations and music cannot be priced without a script; the range would be 10,000 to 100,000 euros, and a number like that helps nobody. Package agencies and freelancers can publish prices because they sell a standardised product.

How much does an hour of video editing cost in Slovakia in 2026?

On the marketplace jaspravim.sk you will find editors from 10 euros per hour of work; more experienced freelancers charge 25 to 40 euros an hour or 25 to 75 euros per finished video by length. Production studios rarely quote an hourly rate and price post-production as a whole, 1,000 to 2,000 euros for a corporate video.
